INTA Enforcement Committee

We are pleased to share that Partner Michalis Kosmopoulos has been appointed to the INTA Enforcement Committee and will be contributing to this term’s meaningful and valuable work.

Diligent and immensely knowledgeable, having broad experience in counseling international businesses across a wide range of industry sectors on Intellectual Property matters, Michalis has already served two (2) terms in INTA’s Anti-Counterfeiting Committee.

The mission of the INTA Enforcement Committee is to develop and advocate INTA’s policy on the timely and effective enforcement of trademarks and business identifiers, including through administrative and judicial proceedings. The Committee monitors and analyzes cases, legislation, and regulations in various jurisdictions, proposes trademark enforcement policy recommendations to its Board, evaluates enforcement mechanisms adopted by worldwide jurisdictions, and develops policies to achieve harmonization of enforcement procedures for the best protection of trademark rights.

Michalis will capitalize on this unique volunteer opportunity to support INTA’s strategic objectives and build a strong network within the international trademark community.
