Drakopoulos represents Hellenic Shipyards(HSY), the largest shipyard in the Eastern Mediterranean region, in ICC arbitration proceedings against the Hellenic Republic. Senior Partner Panagiotis Drakopoulos, Partner Michalis Kosmopoulos and Senior Associate Panagiotis Tampoureas represented HSY before the Arbitral Tribunal, during the first leg of the Hearings Procedure that was held on 13/1/2020, in Athens. Following the conclusion of each party’s Opening Statements, Drakopoulos participated along with the Tribunal in the Site Visit of Skaramangas area, including HSY’s and Hellenic Navy’s facilities, where the parties were also given the chance to visit submarine PIPINOS. The second and third leg of the Hearings procedure will be also held in Athens, at the end of February and March 2020, respectively.
