IBA European Fashion and Luxury Law Conference

Drakopoulos Managing Partner Panagiotis Drakopoulos, Co-Chair of the IBA European Regional Forum, participated in the IBA European Fashion and Luxury Law Conference held in London on 15 and 16 May.

This annual event, organised by the International Bar Association, brings together legal professionals and industry leaders to explore key trends and insights from the luxury and fashion sectors. Topics this year included luxury and ESG issues, innovative distribution channels and Artificial Intelligence among others.

Panagiotis Drakopoulos and Nicola Broadhurst, Commercial Partner and Head of Franchise and ESG at Stevens & Bolton, as well as a member of the European Regional Forum Advisory Board, co-moderated a session themed “The Rise of Luxury Experiences: Legal and Commercial Implications”.

Doina Ciobanau, Luxury and Creative Consultant; Andrea Sindova, Senior Legal Counsel at Tommy Hilfiger PVH Europe BV; and Dudley Wilson, Head of Business at Aston Martin London, shared insights on this constantly evolving subject. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the shifting dynamics of luxury consumption, where experiences are becoming as valuable as the products themselves, and to examine the legal frameworks and commercial strategies that are shaping this transformation.
